Julias McVea Designer
Currently Julias lives and works between Baltimore, MD and Omaha, NE.
Originally from Omaha, Julias holds a duel BFA in Visual Communication
and Studio Art from Loyola University of Chicago. He has recently earned
his MFA in Graphic Design and Teaching Certificate from MICA.
Julias’ passion for design streams from his love for color, grids, type as image,
illustration, and capturing emotional expressions. He looks at visual communication
through the lens of experimental and experiential design as a means to explore the
space between being a traditional and digital maker.
In addition to graphic design, Julias regularly engages in outdoor
excursions, illustration, sketchbooks, and his collection of reference
materials which are all an essential part in his daily and design practices.
